SALES REPRESENTATIVE

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Sales or Customer-Facing Experience Preferred (Roofing Experience a Plus, Not Required)

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Top Tier Roofing and Restoration is seeking motivated, disciplined, and professional Sales Representatives to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who are driven by performance-based earnings, enjoy working directly with homeowners, and want a clear path for growth within the roofing and restoration industry.

Sales Representatives are responsible for generating leads, educating homeowners, delivering solutions, and closing contracts while representing the company with professionalism and integrity. The ideal candidate is coachable, competitive, organized, and committed to following proven systems and processes.

This is a full-time, in-person role based out of our Central Ohio market, with daily field activity and required participation in training, meetings, and team initiatives. Compensation is 100% commission-based, with clearly defined tiers and advancement opportunities.

A BREAKDOWN OF DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES

Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Actively generate new leads through canvassing, referrals, networking, and approved marketing efforts
  • Maintain consistent daily prospecting activity to build and manage a strong pipeline

In-Home & On-Site Sales

  • Conduct property inspections and homeowner consultations
  • Educate customers on roofing, restoration, and insurance processes
  • Present scopes of work and financing options clearly and confidently

Contract Execution

  • Deliver and review scopes of work (SOWs) with homeowners
  • Secure signed contracts and required documentation
  • Protect company pricing, margins, and standards

Customer Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners through contract execution
  • Set clear expectations regarding timelines, scope, and next steps
  • Maintain professional, honest, and transparent communication at all times

CRM & Documentation

  • Accurately enter all leads, appointments, notes, and contracts into the company CRM
  • Upload all required documentation, including photos, measurements, and signed agreements
  • Ensure documentation is complete to maintain commission eligibility

Team Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with office staff, production teams, and management
  • Participate in required meetings, trainings, and coaching sessions
  • Follow all internal processes and escalation procedures
QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Prior sales, customer service, or construction experience preferred
  • Roofing or restoration experience is a plus, but not required for motivated and coachable candidates

Communication Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to confidently interact with homeowners, team members, and partners

Drive & Discipline

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable in a performance-based, commission-only role
  • Willingness to follow systems, pricing standards, and company processes

Professionalism

  • Maintains a clean, professional appearance
  • Represents the company positively in all interactions

Technology

  • Basic proficiency with mobile devices and apps
  • Willingness to learn CRM systems and documentation platforms

Transportation

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required

Background Check

  • All candidates must successfully pass a background check as part of the hiring process
